We worked collaboratively with Korean based designers and their marketing team to ensure that eastern and western design styles were appropriately melded to attract US customers while maintaining a look and feel for the primary Korean market.

The site design needed to be unique, breaking away from the typical ‘grid’ layout of most e-commerce sites, while still being familiar to users and easy to navigate.

A key design challenge and success factor was to quickly match users to real beauty experts according to their skin type through an interactive quiz, providing guidance on a wide product range that would otherwise be overwhelming to the typical customer.
